Separate warehouse housekeeping from production work
A warehouse can include open storage, active picking lanes, loading doors and a small office within the same footprint. The cleaning agreement should show which of those areas are available and what ordinary debris or soil is present. Total building size alone does not describe the work.
This service covers agreed general cleaning. It does not include production-machine cleaning, hazardous spill response, tank cleaning, confined-space work or chemical decontamination. Give us the actual materials and conditions on site so that unsupported work is not assumed to be part of a standard visit.

| Area | Cleaning to discuss |
|---|---|
| Warehouse walkways | Accessible floors with ordinary soil, after operational access is arranged. |
| Administrative offices | Cleared surfaces, bins and compatible floor cleaning. |
| Staff restrooms | Fixtures, mirrors, dispensers and floors. |
| Break and meeting rooms | Tables, counters, appliance exteriors and ordinary waste. |
| Entry and shared corridors | Glass, touchpoints and walking surfaces included in the agreement. |
Work around vehicle traffic and active operations
Cleaning equipment should not be introduced into an active operating lane without coordination. Identify forklift routes, loading periods and areas that your site contact can release for cleaning. Explain where a cleaner checks in and who controls access to each work area.
Send any site orientation, protective-equipment and vendor-document requirements before a visit is accepted. A building may have rules that differ between the office and warehouse floor. Those requirements need to be understood before anyone is scheduled to work there.

Give floor conditions an accurate description
Photographs should show both the overall area and the material on the surface. Cardboard fibers, ordinary tracked soil, fine process dust and an unknown liquid are not equivalent cleaning problems. Do not identify unknown residue as ordinary dirt simply to obtain a standard floor quote.
Provide the floor coating or maintenance instructions where available. Also point out damaged joints, loose material and marked pedestrian routes. The method must suit the existing surface, and the cleaning proposal should distinguish soil removal from repair or recoating.
Send a usable site brief
Include the address, rooms or marked floor areas, operating hours, preferred cleaning window and a site contact. List the waste point, water and power access, and any equipment restrictions. If you only need the offices, breakroom and restrooms cleaned, say so: those areas can be considered without describing the entire industrial operation as part of the job.
