A cleaner dining room starts with a clear handoff
After the last table leaves, staff may still be clearing dishes, moving chairs and finishing side work. Tell us when each area is ready for cleaning. That avoids a cleaner arriving to find floors covered with furniture or staff still using the only route through the dining room.
Agree on the condition in which your team leaves the space. Food, serviceware and personal items should be removed from surfaces that need cleaning. If tables or chairs will be moved, record who handles them and where they will go.

| Area | Work to discuss |
|---|---|
| Dining room | Accessible floor cleaning, agreed cleared surfaces and detail edges. |
| Entrance | Glass doors, handles, thresholds and the immediate interior floor. |
| Restrooms | Fixtures, mirrors, partitions, dispensers and floors. |
| Staff common areas | Ordinary bins, cleared break surfaces and accessible flooring. |
| Periodic detail | Reachable ledges, deeper floor cleaning and areas exposed by a furniture move. |
Treat greasy floors and worn finishes as separate conditions
Describe where the floor feels or looks different: around the service station, along the kitchen route or near an exterior door. Residue can be concentrated in small areas even when the rest of the room looks clean. Close-up photographs and the floor material help determine what needs assessment.
Avoid assuming a deeper clean can repair missing grout, worn finish or damaged tile. If the surface needs maintenance beyond cleaning, that distinction should be made before work is booked. Cleaning products and equipment must also suit the material and the neighboring finishes.

Keep kitchen sanitation and specialist systems clearly assigned
Your food-safety procedures remain essential. Any request involving food-contact surfaces, kitchen equipment or food-preparation areas needs separate review against your requirements. Ordinary dining-room cleaning should not be described as a substitute for the restaurant’s kitchen sanitation program.
Hood and exhaust cleaning, grease-trap service, pest treatment, fire-system work and drain repair are not included in this service. Identify those needs separately. Cleaning staff also need the location of the ordinary waste point and instructions for materials that your operation handles through another provider.
Quote the work around your actual service week
Send the address, approximate dining area, floor type, restroom count and closing times. Include prep hours for the following day and any evening events that change the schedule. If you need a one-time deeper clean, list the areas that are difficult to reach during normal service. Call David at (323) 491-8008 to discuss the details.
